Kathryn Floyd is an assistant professor in the art department at Auburn University where she teaches art history, a supposedly defunct discipline that might just be the most relevant subject you’ll ever study. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Iowa in 2006 and now writes and lectures about the history of exhibitions, twentieth-century German art, and Dada and Surrealism. Defunct and currently on her mind: The Barnes Collection in Merion, PA.
