Ron Tanner’s stories and essays have appeared in dozens of magazines, including the Iowa Review, Missouri Review, Guernica, and West Branch. His award for writing include a Faulkner Society gold medal, a Pushcart Prize, a New Letters Award, a Best of the Web Award, and many others. His illustrated novel, Kiss Me, Stranger, will be published in January 2011. He and his wife live in an 1897 former frat house, where everything is defunct. They happily surround themselves with things that are outdated, useless, and/or broken.
