Kathryn Nuernberger is taking bids to have new foundation poured for a hundred-year-old red barn leaning perilously to the left. A groundhog recently dug out the footings of the white barn and now both the barn and the groundhog are defunct. Her savings account, her dreams of milking goats, and her mood are buckling too.
